My name is Jude. I specialize in recumbent bicycles. I have never been a fan of bulky heavy suspension forks currently available on the major recumbent brands. I was intrigued by the Pantour hub technology. I used a 406 X 25 Velocity Razor rim. I have had some opportunity to test it and so far it works very well in a short wheelbase recumbent application. I did not choose to use the hub for "comfort". I was more interested in its effect in stabilizing the short wheel based recumbent on fast downhill on moderately rough roads. I plan to use the Pantour wheel on a number of different recumbents including long wheelbase models. So far its working great.
