MAINTENANCE OF PANTOUR® SUSPENSION HUBS

The front hubs are essentially maintenance free. Riding conditions will determine how often to maintain your hubs. In wet or muddy conditions maintain the hub every 3 - 6 months. Remove any dirt from hub. To remove the dirt from inside of the hub shell you may need to disassemble the hub according to our disassembly instructions.
We have engineered the shape and material of the elastomer to bring the best performance to the suspension hub. We will not be liable for any changes made to the elastomers. If you notice a change in performance it may be caused by elastomer wear and it should be replaced as soon as possible to avoid damage. Please follow owner's manual instructions. Life expectancy of elastomer is 1 year.
The sealed cartridge bearing life will vary greatly depending on conditions. In normal dry conditions the bearings should last for at least 5 years.  In wet and dirty conditions bearing noise will signal that replacement is needed. Ask your bike dealer or contact us directly for part replacements.

The rear hubs uses maintenance free sealed cartridge bearings and a needle bearing, which will need periodic maintenance. Weather conditions will again dictate servicing, in dry clean conditions it should be degreased once a year. Wet and dirty conditions will not affect the needle bearing unless water is sprayed directly into the hub.

PANTOUR®  1 YEAR WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY

Pantour warranty for our products is 1 year from the original date of purchase. Eligibility for warranty is determined at the factory by the Pantour returns personnel. If a manufacturing problem is determined, the policy is to repair or replace the product at no charge. The warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from misuse, abuse, reasonable wear and tear, crash or failure to perform routine maintenance as instructed, or use other than that for which the product was intended. We will not be liable for any changes made to the product. We have engineered the shape and material of the elastomer to bring the best performance with a life expectancy 1 year. If you notice a change in performance it may be caused by elastomer wear and it should be replaced according to our instructions (see instructions). Otherwise please give us a call us at (866) 789 1033 (9am-5pm M-F WEST). During your call, it might be determined that it would be best to return the product to the factory for inspection. If this is the case, you will be issued a Return Authorization Number (RA#). The customer service rep will enter information in our computer database regarding your return. It is imperative for you to put this RA number on your box. After inspection and warranty determination we will perform the necessary repair or replacement. Should there be any cost to you? You will be charged for the shipping cost of returning the product to you. If you decide, after you send the product that you don’t want the service, you will still be charged for the shipping cost.
Pantour products are non-refundable.

Spare elastomers, bearings, washers or other replacement parts can be purchased from your bike dealer or our factory.
